TAIGA HAGIODA
Born in the U.S. in 1998 and raised in Yokohama, HAGIODA graduated from the Department of Architecture, School of Creative Science and Engineering, Waseda University in 2021. While still a student, he has been creating works that have a relationship with the land in various locations. He has been engaged in expressive activities that are not bound by any particular method, such as drawing, mural, sculpture, ceramics, and theater. Recently, he has been actively involved in the “LoGo!” series of paintings that depict letters as shapes, and the “Danko Royce” project, in which he turns root bends and crotch wood into chairs. He also holds “Midori no ie” (house of Midori), a base for making things (A perfect side dish for drinks = commnicate creation with frends), in which he opens up his own house.
